FrontM and Sailor's Cart launch onboard shopping platform

FrontM has partnered with Sailor's Cart to launch an integrated onboard shopping and welfare service that makes it easier for seafarers to access everyday essentials during port calls.

The service is built into FrontM's onship app and can be deployed across FrontM-powered crew platforms already used by shipping companies and maritime service providers, letting crew order personal items and port-based services ahead of a vessel's arrival, with deliveries made directly onboard.

The partners hope the initiative will grow into a global welfare ecosystem serving the world's nearly two million seafarers, inviting shipowners, managers and welfare organisations to join the expanding network.
